Darksiders II, an upcoming action adventure game, is still expected to be released in June.
However, in a recent interview with RipTen, Executive Vice President for Core Games, Danny Bilson admitted that THQ would not hesitate to delay the game if it was not ready in time.
Darksiders II is looking really, really good. It’s a huge game. It looks like… I don’t want to give the exact amount of hours of gameplay… but it’s a very, very lengthy and involved campaign. We’re going to give that team everything they need to make it as good as it can be.
The team is working really, really hard. We’re not going to ship it before it’s done.
This news comes only a few months after THQ and Vigil Games workforce was reduced, due to financial difficulties. However, Danny Bilson ensures that they kept "the best people and the best talent", and that there is still a large team working on Darksiders II.
