Epic! :D

Once again, hello folks! This time around we've got some big things in store for you in the UI department. BlasTech and Eezstreet have been hard at work creating a beautiful new interface, first up we have one of the more unique features among Jedi Academy mods, the Inventory!
The buttons on the right bring up submenus, or operate the selected item in the desired way. Examine brings up detailed information on the item, Assign to ACI allows the user to assign items to their hotkey bar in the Heads Up Display. Use and Equip are pretty self-explanatory - activate a consumable, or equip a piece of armor. Lastly, to free yourself from unnecessary weight, you can destroy items you don't need.
You may be wondering how you'll be able to sort through the massive amount of equipment available - to tackle this, we allow you to sort by each type of item we have in-game. You'll be able to quickly access items such as, but not limited to, armor, weapons, consumables, and (later on) quest items.
I suppose pictures don't do it much justice, so here's a video exploring the inventory system!
(Note that we apologize for the stuttering in the video, this was caused by FRAPS and the game runs smoothly on its own)
Now you may be wondering what this 'ACI' is all about. This Active Combat Inventory is what will allow you to have quick shortcuts to your weapons and consumables. You can set any item to a number (corresponding on your keyboard), which can also be scrolled through using your mouse wheel.
As you may have noticed, the HUD in the video is a bit large and we swear, it's temporary! Here's the concept for the new HUD, let us know what you think in the comments!
Moving along, we've saved the best for last, although you can see a bit of it in the video above. Here's the main menu - lots of work has gone into this and I'm sure everyone is eager to know what you think, so without further ado...
And yes, that video on the datapad in the background is temporary.
With love and dedication,
- The Jedi Knight Galaxies Team
